Friday 14th November: 10.00 – 17.00
Saturday 15th November: 10.00 – 17.00
Sunday 16th November: 10.00 – 17.00
There will be roadworks taking place on Epsom Road – From Langs Road to Ascot Street starting on Friday 14th November.
Unfortunately this intersection is a key intersection in the area, particularly on event days. We therefore expect additional traffic delays via the alternative routes to the Showgrounds.
We recommend that you use the public transport links available to make your way to the event.
Should you decide to travel by car, please use VIC 3032 on your SatNav.
Onsite parking is available for this event for $25 per vehicle, please enter via Gate 7 on Leonards Crescent.
Friday
Six-carriage trains are to operate from Flinders Street (Platforms 8/9), stopping at Southern Cross (Platforms 13/14) and North Melbourne (Platforms 5/6) in both directions, then express to the Showgrounds (Platform 1) as follows:
Commencing from 09:40, provide a 40-minute service from Flinders Street (Platforms 8/9) to the Showgrounds (Platform 1).
The last train on Friday departs from the Showgrounds at approximately 15:49.
Saturday and Sunday
Six-carriage trains are to operate from Southern Cross (Platform 8) and North Melbourne (Platforms 1/2), stopping in both directions, then express to the Showgrounds (Platform 1) as follows:
Commencing from 09:45, provide a 40-minute service from Southern Cross (Platform 8), to the Showgrounds (Platform 1) only.
The last train on Saturday and Sunday departs from the Showgrounds at approximately 17:15.
Trams will continue to run during the works, but will terminate at Stop 30 Flemington Racecourse.
Patrons will then need to walk approx. 750m from the tram stop to the Gate 1A pedestrian entrance at Melbourne Showgrounds.
This is an approx. 11-minute walk, including up and down some long inclines on Epsom Road.
General admission tickets: $40–$75
Concession tickets: $30–$70
These tickets are available for OAPS 65+, Students and Blue Light Card Holders.
Child tickets: children aged 15 and under can attend for free
Tickets for carers: these can be also collected for free upon arrival at the event from the Box Office.
IMPORTANT – CASH payments will NOT be accepted at the event.
