Technology & Human Behaviour Specialist
Leigh-Chantelle is a technology and human behavioural specialist with expertise spanning cyberpsychology, digital wellness, and sociotechnical systems. She applies interdisciplinary approaches, combining psychology and information technology, to understand how people interact with emerging technologies, with a particular focus on the human factors that determine whether new technologies succeed or fail in diverse communities. Her PhD research has been published in leading transportation journals, contributing to evidence-based policy for Australia's autonomous and electric vehicle future, while her work addresses rural-urban technology divides and the psychology of early adopters. As a consultant and speaker, she translates research insights into practical strategies for technology implementation, serves on policy committees for the CCAT National Future Transport Summit and Australian Electric Vehicle Association, and founded her startup, Daily PhD, to support academic success. She has owned her 2021 Nissan LEAF since 2022 and is an active member of AEVA Queensland.
