Dave Budge is the co-founder and CEO of Jaunt, an Australian company converting classic and specialty vehicles to electric—combining cutting-edge engineering with a deep respect for design and history. From humble beginnings in a Melbourne workshop, Jaunt now designs and manufactures complete energy storage and propulsion systems to electrify passenger and commercial vehicles.

Named one of Australia’s Top 100 Innovators in 2024, Dave brings two decades of experience leading digital and design teams around the world. Prior to founding Jaunt, he was Head of Innovation at Isobar Australia, creating products and platforms for global clients across sectors—from VR systems in Asia to stadium technology in Australia, and service platforms for government and industry.

Dave’s work sits at the intersection of emerging technology and intuitive design. Whether electrifying a 1968 Land Rover or rethinking how we interact with infrastructure, his focus is on creating things people love—and sometimes don’t even notice.

Outside of work, he’s often in the bush with his partner Melany and their dog Frida, or behind the camera filming the music performance series Sideshow Alley.
