Bruce is the General Manager of Emerging Business at Australia’s largest energy company - AGL. His team’s mission is to decarbonise the way we live, work and move. The team launched their first incubation to market in Sept 2020: Australia’s first Electric Car Subscription Service. The team now run a portfolio of businesses that include Australia’s largest and most active residential demand response program (Peak Energy Rewards), AGL’s Virtual Power Plant battery program and AGL’s Electric Vehicle Charging business.

Prior to AGL, Bruce was the Principal of Innovation & Incubation at Telstra Labs - Telstra’s world class innovation and technology laboratory. While at Telstra, Bruce co-founded Telstra’s Connected Supply Chain software business - now a scaled enterprise offering to enhance the efficiency, sustainability and profitability of global supply chains through the power of big data.

He’s also an intellectual property lawyer and the chair of AGL Shine, the energy industry’s most awarded LGBTQ+ inclusion network.
