Terry Niemeier is passionate about delivering practical, sustainable outcomes that benefit communities across New South Wales. With nearly 20 years’ experience across the energy, transport and infrastructure sectors, he currently serves as Director, Transport Electrification and Safeguard with the NSW Government, leading major initiatives that support the transition to net zero emissions, including electric vehicle adoption, energy efficiency programs and business decarbonisation. Terry has held executive leadership roles in both Transport for NSW and the electricity distribution sector, with expertise spanning transport electrification, energy regulation, asset management, program delivery, safety and organisational transformation.
