Scott Perkins
Scott has over 20 years of experience in Australian energy markets and utilities infrastructure.
Prior to joining Ausgrid in 2024, Scott was the Founder and Joint Managing Partner of DTS Capital, a private equity firm focused on investing in the energy transition and related sectors. He previously spent 15 years at Citi’s investment banking division in Sydney, leading its energy, power and infrastructure coverage across M&A, capital markets and lending.
Since joining Ausgrid in early 2024, Scott has led the distributed energy storage team responsible for rolling out <5MW batteries across the Ausgrid network. Ausgrid currently has 22 community style batteries operational.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of New South Wales and is a registered Chartered Accountant (CA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
