Fiona Bycroft is CEO and co-founder of Naut, a New Zealand company designing and building high-powered electric marine propulsion systems. Naut was spun out of McKay, building on more than a decade of electric marine experience including Ika Rere, the Southern Hemisphere’s first electric ferry. Between McKay and Naut, the team has delivered over a dozen electric vessels, working with operators, boat builders, and governments to decarbonise transport on water. Naut’s boat-agnostic approach allows customers to electrify the vessel that best suits their needs.
