Adam Best is a Senior Principal Research Scientist and Team Leader at CSIRO Technology, where he leads research and industry engagement in advanced battery technologies and energy storage. With more than 25 years of experience in battery research, Adam has worked across lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries, next-generation energy storage systems, battery materials, manufacturing, safety, and recycling. He has led major national and international battery initiatives, and collaborates extensively with industry and government. He is also a co-founder and co-director of the Australian Battery Society.
