Tommy is the Founder and Director of the Aus Ships Group, headquartered in Brisbane, Australia.

With qualifications in Naval Architecture and Business, and a background spanning high speed commercial vessel design, construction and operations through to maritime advisory and regulatory positions in government, Tommy has developed a multi disciplinary business to provide Design, Build and Maintain solutions to the commercial and luxury maritime sectors.

The Aus Ships Group secured the fleet replacement contract with the Brisbane City Council in 2019, designing and constructing 8 x 27 metre high speed low wash Generation 4 double decker City Cats over the last 4.5 years with additional vessels on order.

The group has designed London’s first all electric passenger ferry currently under construction in the UK, is in the pre-production stage for Australia’s first fully accessible, commercially compliant electric passenger ferry and supporting a hydrogen powered vessel demonstration trial in Brisbane later in 2024 with Trade & Investment Queensland and Yanmar Japan.
