Korum Ellis

Founder and CEO, F L Y O N E

Korum Ellis (Born February 11, 1983) is a businessman and investor.

He is the founder, chairman, product architect and CEO of FlyOnE Sustainable Aviation (2021- present); Owner/operator and fleet manager of RideOnE (2021- present) and former owner/operator of Audiocom Mobile Electronics (2016-2022).
In 2008, Korum moved to Perth, Western Australia to work with the dominant vehicle electronics retailer, 'Alberts Car Stereo'. Working closely with that company Korum opened new sites, managed existing sites, and helped to optimise the business.Ultimately growing out of this role in 2014, Korum moved focus to the online vehicle electronics retail business he founded in 2001, 'Universalfuze', growing the DIY vehicle electronics retailer to a youtube Audience of 30K views per month and selling DIY vehicle upgrade packages specifically for popular Australian vehicle models. In 2016 Korum purchased a small retail store with a business partner for a small five-figure sum and traded as Midland Car Audio and Safety Pty Ltd but exited the business due to creative differences in 2019. It ceased trading in 2020.
At the end of 2019, Korum started a new enterprise, Audiocom Mobile Electronics Pty Ltd, merging it with Universalfuze to build 3 strong retail locations in Western Australia and a growing online retail presence.
Using the lessons learned in 20 years of business operation, Korum founded FlyOnE and RideOnE in 2021.After 12 months of market research and product architecture planning, FlyOnE acquired it's first electric aircraft in 2022 and begun integrating electric aircraft operations into the Australian Aerospace industry.

Ultimately seeing a bigger opportunity in aerospace, Korum sold the assets of Audiocom Mobile Electronics Pty Ltd in 2023 to the Moore family in Western Australia for the humble amount of AUD$496K, to focus his energy and attention on renewable energy sources in the Aerospace industry.
Korum now leads FlyOnE in the transition of legacy aviation to renewable energy aircraft in Australia, having integrated electric Pilot training to two states, Decarboinsing Air-Taxi services, beginning the rollout of electric aircraft charge infrastructure Australia-wide and securing the supply of the most economically viable next-generation of electric aircraft.

Korum has led the company as Founder and CEO from its inception, through its early growth stages and multiple funding rounds to a market cap. value of AUD$57m as of August 2024 and continues to lead the company into scalable market deployment in Australia and beyond.
