Employed at the University of Newcastle as a lecturer of Construction Management, Dr Josephine Vaughan is interested in the elements of building design and construction that can contribute to a positive outcome for the natural environment and human health. Josephine is actively working in this area by researching, lecturing and publishing on the process of building material selection, building material development, decision making, cultural change and innovation in the construction industry. Through forming collaborative partnerships with industry and community, Josephine is engaged to consult on, design and manage a range of research and building projects.
