Ed is the CEO of Evnex, and founded the business in 2014, inspired by the process of converting his Honda Accord to an electric vehicle in the final year of his electronics engineering degree at Canterbury University. 

Growing up on a high country farm in New Zealand, Ed saw first-hand the impact that climate change could have on the environment. Combining his environmental interest and passion for engineering, he began the journey of developing smart charging technology to reduce the cost and carbon impact of charging electric vehicles.
